Research, pricing and product expertise for better growth decisions.

I’m Jake McMahon. I help SaaS teams understand what customers value, design offers around that value and test what people and AI agents choose.

What I bring to your team.

  1. Experiment design and statistics: turn a commercial question into a comparison with clear criteria and honest uncertainty.
  2. Product and Jobs-to-be-Done: connect buying reasons to capabilities, onboarding and the customer’s actual outcome.
  3. Pricing and offer design: examine value, packaging and delivery economics together.
  4. Analytics, machine learning and NLP: structure evidence, mine customer language and build a useful measurement foundation.

Research that leads to a decision.

I’m Jake McMahon, founder of ProductQuant Labs. I do SaaS growth consulting and work in product, using Jobs-to-be-Done, analytics, experimentation and pricing to understand what makes an offer worth choosing.

I’ve built sandbox environments and repeatable procedures to test buyer-agent behavior, compare offers and check whether the selected endpoint completes its job. Market mining and sentiment analysis help me generate hypotheses; controlled evaluation helps me challenge them.

Product experience, not just positioning.

My work includes instrumentation, activation analysis, onboarding and product UX, customer research, statistical modelling, NLP and pricing architecture. The purpose is to make the product’s promise understandable, measurable and achievable.

At Queue, I worked across product marketing and AI, helping develop and commercialise AI products and services. That experience connects research and implementation with the practical work of selling and delivering an offer.

Is this the decision your team needs to make?

Share the product, current friction and target outcome. We’ll establish fit and agree a useful scope before paid work.

Behavioral science and quantitative training.

BSc in Behavioral Psychology, Swinburne University of Technology. MSc in Big Data & Business Analytics, Saint Petersburg State University, Graduate School of Management.

The academic grounding spans behavioral research, statistics, analytics and machine learning. The commercial work brings product judgement, customer jobs and pricing into the same loop.

You work directly with me.

I lead the diagnostic, experiments and readout. One engagement is in delivery at a time. Recommendations are grounded in evidence, including the evidence that says an idea does not work.

A useful result should help you decide what to build, price or communicate next. It should also say what we still do not know.
